Aged Care Australia

Aged Care Australia is the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing’s online source of information about aged care. Aged Care Australia provides the community with access to government and non-government information and services. It will help the community to make informed decisions about aged care options for themselves and their family members.

Australian Association of Gerontology

The AAG is Australia's largest multidisciplinary professional association of people who work in, or have an interest in, ageing. The diverse membership includes health professionals, academics, government representatives, providers and staff of aged care services, policy analysts, support workers, researchers from the social and medical sciences, administrators, voluntary agencies, students, and older people themselves. The AAG has a National program of activities, as well as active Divisions at State and Territory level. It is also part of an international network, through its membership of the International Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics.


Agedcare.com.au is Australia's Aged care reference website.
Founded by Jarrod Kanizay, a former nurse in the Geriatric arena, the website was created for individuals who could not find sufficient on line resources in the aged care sector. Agedcare.com.au aims to be an all inclusive Aged Care Website catering to the needs of an ageing population.

Dementia Care Australia

“Spark of Life”- a whole new world of dementia care, this website provides information and resources relating to the “Spark of Life” program.

Dementia Behaviour Management Advisory Service

The Dementia Behaviour Management Advisory Services (DBMAS) is a nationwide network of services funded by the Australian Government as part of the dementia initiative. DBMAS provides clinical support for people caring for someone with dementia who is demonstrating behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia (BPSD) which are impacting on their care.
