Project Outline:
The project will involve the evaluation of patient-centred processes pertinent to red cell transfusion in the perioperative period at a single hospital. Students will develop a protocol, draft an ethics application and then contact and interview patients. Results will inform the informed consent processes relating to administration of blood products.
