This course prepares registered nurses for leadership roles within a rapidly evolving health system.

It focuses on developing an understanding (and critique) of the broader public health context in which nursing is practised, as well as providing a sound foundation in research disciplines to support the promotion of an evidence-based approach to contemporary health problems.

Admission to the Master of Public Health (Nursing) requires all the following:

  • eligibility for registration as a nurse
  • a recognised bachelor's degree in a health related field
  • at least one year's professional experience relevant to nursing
