Courses
The Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Science majors will be offered within the Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours) or as a second major within the Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Design.
Majors
A major is a structured sequence of eight units in a particular field of study. Every student will take at least one degree specific major and a number of units designed to broaden their educational experience.
The Faculty will be offering the following majors:
- Aboriginal Health and Wellbeing
- Biomedical Science (jointly with the Faculty of Life and Physical Sciences
- Pathology and Laboratory Medicine
- Pharmacology
- Population Health
These majors will give students a good grounding for their chosen career or to pursue postgraduate studies including dentistry, medicine, nursing, pathology, pharmacology, podiatric medicine, public health and social work.
