There are Direct Pathways for domestic school leavers for the Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) and the Master of Pharmacy (MPharm).

Year 12 applicants apply through TISC. 2017 applications (for a 2018 entry school leaver position) will open early-mid August and close on 29 September 2017 for pharmacy.  Applications for podiatric medicine will close in line with general TISC deadlines.

Successful applicants will receive a conditional place in either the DPM or MPharm.  The condition of these places is as follows:

  • A place in the DPM or MPharm is conditional upon successful completion of a UWA bachelor degree with a minimum Faculty Grade Point Average (FGPA) of 5.0. 

Direct Pathways: 

Quota:

  • DPM - Approximately 15 places available.
  • MPharm - Approximately 15 places available including international places.    

Entry Requirements:

Broadway and Rural Eligibility:

  • A select number of places are available in both the DPM and the MPharm for Rural and Broadway applicants.

    Application Process:

    • Applicants are required to lodge a TISC application, entering the relevant TISC course code(s).  Applications for 2018 entry to a Direct Pathway position will open early-mid August and close on 29 September 2017 (for pharmacy) and on the usual TISC closing dates for podiatric medicine 
    • Western Australian applicants to the Master of Pharmacy are also required to submit the Predicted ATAR form by 6 November 2017 - Master of Pharmacy applicants only.
    • Rural and/or Broadway eligibility form to be submitted by 29 September 2017 - Rural and Broadway applicants only.

    Final Ranking:

    • DPM: Final ranking will be based on ATAR.
    • MPharm: Final ranking will be based ATAR.
