Applications are handled through the UWA Future Students

There are Graduate Pathways available for domestic graduates for the Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD).  

Applicants apply for the DMD through the UWA Postgraduate Admissions Centre. 2017 applications for 2018 entry will open during March and close 31 May 2017.

Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD):

  • Commenced in 2013

Quota:

Approximately 40 places were available in 2016 for 2017 entry.  These places included various sub quotas:

Application process:

  • Applications are handled directly by the University.  2017 applications for 2018 open during March and close 31 May 2017.

Final ranking:

  • Final ranking for non-rural applicants to the DMD is based equally on GAMSAT, GPA and Interview.
  • Final ranking for rural applicants to the DMD is based equally on GAMSAT, GPA, Interview and a Rurality Ranking.

Course offers:

  • Course offers are likely to be made from early November onwards.

Deferral:

  • Students are not normally able to defer a place in the DMD.

Course Commencement:

  • The course commences with a compulsory orientation.  The compulsory orientation (and course commencement) normally takes place in the last week of January.
