Applications are handled through the UWA Future Students

Prospective applicants who hold a Bachelor degree (or are in their final year of their first Bachelor degree) may be eligible to apply for graduate entry into the Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD).  

2018 applications for 2019 entry are now open and will close 31 May 2018.  Please refer to eligibility information below.  Find out more about how to apply.

Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD):

  • Commenced in 2013

Quota:

Approximately 20 places will be available during 2018 for 2019 commencement, including sub quotas:

Application process:

  • Applications are handled directly by the University.  2018 applications for 2019 open 1 March and close 31 May 2018.

Final ranking:

  • Final ranking for non-rural applicants to the DMD is based equally on GAMSAT, GPA and Interview.
  • Final ranking for rural applicants to the DMD is based equally on GAMSAT, GPA, Interview and a Rurality Ranking.

Course offers:

  • Course offers are likely to be made from early November onwards.

Deferral:

  • Students are not normally able to defer a place in the DMD.

Course Commencement:

  • The course commences with a compulsory orientation.  The compulsory orientation (and course commencement) normally takes place in the last week of January.
