This course is designed to suit a range of health professionals who seek to develop their knowledge and skills in health professional education. In addition, students are able to pursue in depth a particular area of research interest.

Course outline

Completion of a total of 72 points comprising three core units, one unit chosen as an option and a 48-point research thesis. The option may be chosen from either the approved list offered by the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences or the approved list offered by the Faculty of Education.

Admission requirements

The degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from this University, or equivalent as recognised by the Faculty; or a nursing or allied health degree from this University or another recognised institution; or an undergraduate degree in related health disciplines

English Language Competence

All UWA coursework programs have a minimum level of English language competence necessary, for both Domestic and International students.
