The Faculty is strongly focused on providing you with a rich and rewarding learning experience, and has identified four key objectives to do this:

Enhance your student experience

• Emphasis on improving your student experience is facilitated by the Education Centre, which has been established to ensure the highest quality teaching and learning outcomes.
• To support the outcomes-based education we deliver, records of all graduate outcomes, year outcomes and unit outcomes (for undergraduate courses) are maintained in the MappEdOut database.

Improve teaching quality

• Emphasis is on improving teaching quality with initiatives like peer observation of teaching and the Teaching on the Run development program for your lecturers.
• We are establishing a teaching and learning culture where your best lecturers receive recognition through grants and awards for excellence in teaching.

Continue to build links between teaching and research

• Building on our research strength to ensure that our students are aware of and excited by Faculty staff research activities.
