Postgraduate Medical Councils, hospitals and some other training groups (General Practice training) in all states have been involved in continuing Teaching on the Run activities.
Contact your Postgraduate Medical Council for a list of participating hospitals or areas.
General Practice Divisions are also implementing Teaching on the Run activities. Alternately contact us directly, we can work with you to modify material to suit your needs and provide workshops for your group.
You can establish these programs in your own area. The program is available if you have clinicians or educators who have attended workshops or been trained as facilitators. Training for facilitators can be organised directly through us.
Support includes running a workshop, supporting prospective facilitators and provision of all support material. The workshops are flexible, and can be run in a variety of ways.
The program was developed for teaching hospital specialists but has been adapted for general practitioners and other specialists, for teachers of undergraduate medical and dental students, and for undergraduate students who teach.
Clinicians who have extensive experience teaching undergraduate and postgraduate doctors, but who have had little or no formal teaching instruction will find these modules useful.
Each half-day program contributes to CME points from various colleges (RACP, RACS, RANZCR, ANZACR, RACGP, ACEM, RANZCP RANZCO).
